  • Service refers to the Guideloop application and website.
  • You refers to the individual accessing or using the Service, or, if applicable, the parent or guardian responsible for a minor's use of the Service.

Usage data may include information such as your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including to store your courses, grades, activities, essays, and other data you choose to save, and to monitor the usage of our Service.
  • To manage your account: to manage your registration as a user of the Service and to authenticate you.

  • To provide you with news, special offers, and general information about other goods, services, and events that we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased or enquired about, unless you have opted not to receive such information.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Users between 13 and 17 may only use the Service with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian, as required by our Terms of Service.

We do not collect demographic data such as race or ethnicity from any user. If you are a parent or guardian, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of all data stored for your child's account.
  • Correction — request that inaccurate information be corrected.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your child's account and all associated data. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

To exercise any of these rights, contact safety@guideloop.app from the email address on your account. We will verify your identity before processing the request.

We do not sell user data to third parties. We do not use content submitted through the Service (such as essay drafts) to train AI models. AI features process submitted content solely to generate a response, and content is not retained after that response is delivered.
